the beguiling singer and bassists Giuditta's vocals brought to mind the low register of Echobelly's Sonya and the ethereal moments of the Cocteau Twins, while the bass heavy rock they produce brings to mind one of the bands influences 'the editors' amongst others. After the end of a slightly meandering set with few surprises I'd still have to say it's true that all the best bands have female base players
